Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches supports the Fabric Extender portfolio, which is based on the emerging standard 802.1BR. It expands Cisco Fabric Extension Technology into the servers and virtual machines with Cisco Adapter FEX and Cisco VM-FEX.
